Siri is a digital assistant. Evernote is a second brain. DJs are pre-recording their “live” sets. Machines are getting smarter while humans are getting lazier.

“We become what we behold. We shape our tools and then our tools shape us.” – Marshall McLuhan
Machines can’t daydream like humans. They don’t have emotion, learning vicariously through rote pre-programmed data. In other words, machines are becoming predictable like humans today and less visceral such as played in jazz, or drum n bass music.
“If you can’t believe in the music you’re playing, and do you really believe in what you’re playing? That’s something I have to question.” – Goldie
Give the drummer some. Happy birthday, Goldie!
